Analysing, setting exceptions, excluding cells — before anything is produced.
Step 4 is called „Durchsehen“ (Review). Here you see every planned output individually, before anything is produced.
The sheet starts in the list: the grid says everything in shapes, the list carries the same states as words. The selection is shared between the two views.
The signed-in product speaks German, so its labels are quoted in German throughout, with the English rendering in italics.
Analysing cells
The button sits in the footer between „Zurück“ and „Weiter“. It reads „Zellen analysieren“ (Analyse cells) while nothing has been measured, and „Erneut prüfen“ (Check again) once a report exists.
The step blocks nothing. You may go on unmeasured; the analysis costs waiting time, and someone who knows their images does not have to wait for it.
The report appears once every cell is measured — whole or not at all.
A report expires after 15 minutes. „Erneut prüfen“ then measures only what no longer has a valid measurement.
The whole report expires at once as soon as formats, the batch-wide crop or the batch-wide label change. A changed asset selection does not do that.
What is checked
Three things, in this order:

And three severities with different consequences:
- „Fehler“ (error) locks its cell. The batch runs on without it.
- „Warnung“ (warning) runs along.
- „Hinweis“ (note) is information only.
The three count tiles are per cell and non-overlapping: conforming + warnings
- errors add up to the cell count. A cell with three findings counts once, by its worst.
For „Auflösung“, what is compared is the crop frame against the output size, not the whole file. Small enlargements are not reported.
Before the first measurement, beside the count strip: „Noch nicht analysiert — die Vorschauen zeigen Ihre Einstellungen, keine Messung.“ (Not analysed yet — the previews show your settings, not a measurement.)
Excluding cells
Error findings exclude their cells by themselves. That exclusion ends with the report.
Cells excluded by hand stay excluded.
The gesture has exactly one direction per selection: only when every selected cell is already out does the button read „Wieder einschließen“ (Include again); otherwise „Zellen ausschließen“ (Exclude cells).
Excluded cells stay visible — dimmed in the list, dimmed and struck through in the grid. This is also where you take an exclusion back.
Exclude everything and the start button's label changes to „Alle Zellen ausgeschlossen“ (All cells excluded).
Adjusting a single output
The cell editor opens in place of the step; „Zurück“ and „Weiter“ are gone while it is open. It applies to this one output.
Only what you touch is changed. Everything else keeps following the batch's settings.
Each field shows where its value comes from and can be reset on its own — back to the value of the level above, not to a factory value. The five label fields share one indicator naming the most notable origin.
„Manuell“ as a crop mode only becomes available once the original has loaded.
The label position can be placed freely here — not in the batch-wide step.
What the cell editor does not offer
- The label switch. A cell cannot opt out of the marking.
- The choice of label variant. It follows from the measurement.
- The non-AI notice from the manifest.
Several cells at once
Multi-edit offers two fields: the crop mode and the anchor. Only those mean the same thing on every cell.
It changes only the fields it touches and says beforehand what it will not do: cells holding their own exception for the same field stay unchanged.
Row and column gestures act on every cell of that row or column — including filtered-out ones. A shift range selection, by contrast, follows the visible order.
When a finding goes stale
If you change a cell after the measurement, its finding counts as stale: it stays visible, is struck through, and no longer counts as current. There is a tile of its own for it — „veraltet“ (stale), explained as „Zellen, deren Befund nicht mehr gilt.“ (Cells whose finding no longer applies.)
A stale cell also loses its measured label variant. The lightbox says so where the cell actually loses something.
What can go wrong
The measurement fails. A brief notice appears; simply request it again.
Beside the analyse button it reads „Kontingent erschöpft — in N s wieder verfügbar.“ (Allowance exhausted — available again in N s.) Wait the seconds out, then start the measurement again.
