Settings
The workspace's ten administration areas, in the order of the sidebar.
„Einstellungen“ (Settings) is the workspace's administration area. The pages here follow the same order as the entries in the product.
Only owners and admins see the area. A member is not shown the menu entry at all, and calling an address directly ends on a 404 page. You may still read about it here — each page says who can do what.
The signed-in product speaks German, so its labels are quoted in German throughout, with the English rendering in italics.
| In the product | Page |
|---|---|
| Mitglieder (Members) | Members · Who may do what |
| Abrechnung (Billing) | Plans and billing · Allowances · Seats · Switching and cancelling · Payment problems |
| Formate (Formats) | Output formats |
| Labels | Label templates |
| Defaults | Defaults · The marking obligation |
| Export | Export naming |
| Aufbewahrung (Retention) | Retention |
| Content Credentials | Usage and rights |
| Sicherheit & SSO (Security & SSO) | Enterprise sign-in |
| Audit | The two audit trails · Exporting the trails |
Three entries have more than one page, because one screen does more than one thing: „Defaults“ carries the defaults and the marking obligation, „Abrechnung“ gathers plan, usage and payment, and „Audit“ holds two trails plus their export.
What an admin may not do
Two areas are the owner's alone: changing the plan under „Abrechnung“, and sign-in through the company account. An admin sees the state, but the controls are locked and say why.

Your own account is elsewhere
Display name, password, two-factor and timezone belong to you, not to the workspace. They sit in the user menu at the foot of the sidebar under „Account-Einstellungen“ — and are therefore open to members, who do not see this area. See My account.
A workspace can, however, require two-factor. It is still set up in your own account; whether it is needed is the workspace's decision — see Two-factor requirement.
