Exporting the trails

Both trails have an export of their own, reachable through „Als Excel herunterladen“ (Download as Excel).

The signed-in product speaks German, so its labels are quoted in German throughout, with the English rendering in italics.

What goes into the file

The page's filters are carried over — across all pages, not just the rows on screen.

The page's sorting is not. In the file the rows always run oldest first.

The columns

Administration trail: „Zeitpunkt (UTC)“, „Aktion“, „Aktionsschlüssel“, „Akteur“, „Details“.

That is one column more than on screen: the event appears twice, once as the German label and once as the technical name („Aktionsschlüssel“). That column is also how you reach the events missing from the picker on the page.

Content Credentials trail: „Zeitpunkt (UTC)“, „Ereignis“, „Ergebnis“, „Subjekt-Typ“, „Subjekt-ID“, „Akteur“, „Veranlasser“, „Ordner“, „Datei“, „Label-Variante“, „Zertifikat“.

The times are in UTC

The screen shows the times in your timezone, the file in coordinated universal time. So the two differ by your offset; that is why „(UTC)“ stands in the column header.

The cells are formatted as dates. Identifiers and certificate serials arrive as text, with their leading zeros.

How to read the file

An empty cell means: not recorded.

„—“ means: recorded that there is nothing. That is what stands under the originator where the subject was deleted or there never was a source.

„System“ means: no human. Signatures by the service, verifications from the nightly reconciliation, operational interventions.

Details that run too long are cut and marked with […gekürzt] (truncated).

The filename

It names the trail, the date and whether filtering applied — that is how you tell which of the two exports is in the file.
