Plans and billing
What distinguishes plans, how the trial ends, and what a purchase changes about it.
Billing lives under Settings → „Abrechnung“.
Owners and admins may look. Buying, changing the plan, changing seats and cancelling are the owner's alone; so is the spending limit.
The actual figures are not in this documentation. Prices, seat counts and allowance limits are on the pricing page and in your billing view.
The signed-in product speaks German, so its labels are quoted in German throughout, with the English rendering in italics.
What distinguishes plans
Five quantities — seats, storage, retention period, video minutes and signing runs — plus which features are included. A quantity can also be unlimited.
The free plan cannot be bought. All the others you book on the billing page directly. Enterprise is the exception: its card on the pricing page leads to a conversation, not to a checkout.
The trial
Every new workspace starts with 14 days on the highest publicly purchasable plan — not on the smallest.
- It ends exactly 14 days after signing up.
- You need no payment details for it.
- You get it once per email address. A second workspace from the same address gets none.
While it runs, the seat count stands at that of the plan being trialled.
When the trial ends without a purchase
The workspace moves to the free plan, and the seats are fixed at the number of members active at that moment.
Invitations still open at that point can no longer be accepted. Settle them beforehand, or book a plan in time.
The free plan keeps files for less time: after a grace period of 30 days, older original files are removed. The evidence data stays.
A purchase ends the trial immediately
The remaining free days are forfeited. The purchase dialog says so, with the date, while a trial is running.

Alongside, depending on the situation: „Testphase endet am …“, „nächste Abrechnung …“ or „Kontingente setzen zurück am …“.
After returning from checkout
A band sits at the top: either that the payment is complete and the plan will appear shortly — or, if you cancelled, that nothing was charged and nothing about the workspace changed.
